Autograph letter signed, dated : Frankfurt May 12 1843, to Concertmeister [Louis] Schlösser in Darmstadt, 1843 May 12.

Saying they received Schlösser's letter and money, expressing regret that because the Lewys must leave for Mainz they will no longer be able to visit, saying that he cannot send the "scènes italiennes" because they have not yet been written down, adding that the bearer of the letter is Frl. Recio, the companion of the famous Berlioz, whose compositions will interest Schlösser enormously, etc.
